Handy and compactAug 09, 2010
By Marron I got this thinking it would only be a sometimes-case, because there's no room for an extra battery or SD card, but in fact I use it all the time, and carry the extras in my purse. Very handy, adds no weight, and protects the camera. It's helpful to keep a quarter on hand to tighten the screw from time to time.
a bit disappointedJan 15, 2012
By roegmann I have a Lumix LX5 and this wraps around and protects the camera just fine. What I do find silly, is the locking mechanism into the tripod mount. It is a slotted screw. Yes, that's right, you need to have a screw driver or a dime with you to make sure your wrap is tightly bound. Why couldn't they use a "thumbwheel" connection like all other devices that connect to the tripod mount? Who knows. But, that is why I gave the product three stars; otherwise, it would have gotten five stars.
now *that's* a wrap!Jan 11, 2012

This lightweight neoprene wrap is a great fit for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 10.1 MP Digital Camera with 3.8x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD - Black. I have a really rugged case for trekking about with the camera, but this is a neat option to keep my LX5 dust free around the house or when traveling *really* light.
Attaches easily to the tripod mount under the camera; I used a nickel to turn the small screw and it secured *very* tightly to the base of the camera. You'll need to remove the wrap, base and all, to access the memory card or battery, but it goes on and off in less than 10 seconds flat.
I like that when unfolded from the camera the wrap does not interfere with picture taking in any way. I'll update this review if any issues with wear develop over time but this seems of high quality, excellent design and sturdy build; I'm *very* careful with this camera and can't see that this wrap will see much wear and tear though.
At this time, the listing says "Jumbo" size but the packaging it comes with indicates this is the XL size.
Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommended.
nice protector for larger point-and-shootDec 03, 2011
By mayamocha I bought this for my Fujifilm X10 camera. It was easy to install and fits nicely. I like neoprene cases and covers for photo and computer equipment, as the neoprene protects against small bumps and potential scratches and doesn't weigh much or take up too much space. The wrap means I can still slip the camera into a jacket pocket or a shoulder bag without it needing extra room.
I also like that the wrap design lets me quickly access the camera without having to undo a cumbersome case. I can leave the camera on a neckstrap and not worry about it getting accidentally bumped but its still at the ready.
The only downside with this wrap is that I have to keep an eye on the screw - it tends to loosen. The problem may be that my camera's tripod mount is closer to one edge of the camera rather than towards the center so there is more leverage to loosen it.
The only other design change I'd suggest is to offer more colors like the smaller versions have.
Great wrap. And yes it's durable.Dec 18, 2010

Another reviewer commented that they weren't sure if this wrap was very durable. I have had a few of these for over 2 years, and I can say with assurance that they are *extremely* durable.
My cameras with these wraps have been thrown into computer bags, glove boxes, and been dropped once too often onto hard surfaces, and the cases (and cameras too) survived. Hey - one was even driven over by a car. The camera was pretty messed up (this is a SOFT case, doncha know), but I'm still using the case - I kid you not. So there.
This is not a quibble, as some have said, but with many cameras you WILL have to remove or loosen the case to get at the battery and/or memory card. THIS IS VERY EASY TO DO with a coin, and takes just a few seconds. Frankly, there's no workaround for that besides re-designing the camera itself. No stars deducted for this, as the case manufacturer shouldn't do things any differently.
Excellent camera protection, well made, lightweight, AND easy to use (which is why I bought them in the first place!).
