I finally got this controllerApr 02, 2010
By Manuel Camacho I've been waiting patiently for this controller for 2 years now. Why do you ask? Because being that this is a limited edition red x360 controller everywhere I looked this bad boy was extremely expensive. Finally after 2 years of waiting lol, Amazon pretty much is a have a 50% off the original price and I grabbed it. This is your standard x360 controller colored on red with a dock charger to connect to your xbox and it also supports batteries. I'm so happy with this deal

Durability issues?Jul 08, 2009
By Feeni I purchased one of these and returned it a week later because it kept dropping the wireless connection to the Xbox. Even when the battery was fully charged I would get disconnected mid-game.
Now I am on my second one and have had it 6 months and the joystick is starting to wear out. It leans to the left slightly so that when the controller is just sitting there with nobody touching it my game characters will move left on their own. I have never had a joystick wear out on me before (I still have all my N64 controllers in working condition).
I have a regular black wireless controller that works fine, so I am not sure if there are differences in manufacturing that make the red ones worse or if I just have bad luck.

Same excelent controller, new sexy color.Oct 13, 2008
By Sy Wolf This is the same controller with a nice new paint job just in time for Gears of War 2. It also comes with a play and charge kit which is why it is more expensive.

Good controller, just wish D-pad was betterMar 30, 2010
By Eds Overall I like the design of this controller. It is great for most modern games like RPGs and FPS. The reason I say modern is that with the increasing popularity of old school games on Xbox Live Arcade, this controller could use some improvements. The main problem is the D-pad. In most games I play, the D-pad is used sparingly, and usually only a single or couple of presses at a time. For that it is ok. But try playing Castlevania or Ninja Turtles and you'll quickly find it unsatisfactory. Now I know you can use the joystick but the problem with those is that sometimes the input is unclear. For example in castlevania you press Up + Attack to use your special weapon. However sometime pressing Forward + Attack will be register as Up + Attack. If you try to use the D-pad you encounter the same issue. It has this curvature that makes it feel like a bowl which takes away the feel and makes precise inputs hard. It would have been nice if they just had a simple D-pad with Up, Down, Left, and Right like on Nintendo controllers. But if you only play more modern games that are made for the 360 then I think this controller is excellent and you don't have to worry about my comments.

This controller is red with black outlining and it looks extremely nice. Also comes with a play and charge kit so that if you don't have any batteries you can use this as an option. Really love the controller.
