Four blade positions allow the Ice Master to perform in the worst icy conditions. The blades lock in three different ice-scraping positions, and the ice-breaking teeth provide the fourth ice removal option. Clear away frost twice as fast! The two brass blades clear more surface area when used in a back and forth motion. A single pass over the glass is like two passes in effect, so youre clearing more frost without actually doing more work. For the purists, the dual blades can be locked in the forward position to work as a conventional ice scraper. This configuration creates a stiffer blade for scraping heavier ice and increases the reach of the scraper. The stationary center blade is highly effective on hard ice and rearview mirrors. Use it to clear hard ice after cracking it with the plastic teeth. Tough polycarbonate teeth on the backside of the center blade allow you to crack thicker ice so you can then clear it off the glass. The Ice Master is made of tough polycarbonate with softened brass blades and a rubberized handle. Youll use your Ice Master month after month, winter after winter. Keep it stowed in your car door pocket. The Ice Master comes with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. The Ice Master is the Cadillac of windshield ice scrapers! Dont waste another morning trying to chip away heavy ice on your car. Break it and scrape it away with the Ice Master Multi-Blade Ice Scraper! The Ice Master makes an excellent gift for anyone living in or traveling to a ice-prone climate. | | | Features: | |

Better than most ice scrapers but still falls short of perfectionDec 18, 2008
By Kathleen San Martino I purchased the two-pack of these because I was tired of the different plastic ice scrapers I had that didn't do a good job on hard ice.
From September to April I have to scrape my car windows almost daily. This scraper is one of the better tools because there are three different scraping positions. You can scrape in the position shown (although I had trouble keeping it in that position), you can fold the two larger blades back to expose only the smaller blade, or you can fold all the blades in front for a stronger scraping action (although sometimes the ice gets caught between the different blades forcing them to separate a bit which means you need to clear the ice to continue).
This is the best scraper I used so far because it scrapes away thicker ice easily when in the reinforced position (with all blades out front). It also works well, but not great, to dislodge the thick concrete ice I get on my windshield.
I feel this product could be improved by making the blades stronger and have a locking mechanism that keeps the blades in the "stand-like" position (like shown in picture) and in the reinforced position (with all blades out front). Because the blades are slightly pliable and not as firm as a thick steel knife, scraping away ice is still not as easy as wiping away snow from a windshield but it is a whole lot better with this tool. One other issue I found is that the blade only scrapes half of its length (so if you use the small blade only what's in the center gets scraped away, meaning you'll have more passes).
However, this is still a worthwhile purchase for me because it's a lot easier to scrape away the ice with this tool than any other scraper I tried before.

they missed the pointFeb 15, 2011
By J. Strinz The point of having a brass blade is the blade will slightly flex so it maintains contact with the curved windshield. The brass blades on this scraper are so short there is no way for them to flex. It works OK on the side windows, which are flat. But this is no better than a plastic blade on the windshield.

Best scraper I've ever used.Dec 28, 2009
By Tim Bingham This scraper quickly and easily clears snow and ice. I'm very impressed by the design. The pivoting "Y" blades mean you can clear ice in both directions. For the thicker ice, the blades lock forward for reinforced scraping, and for the thickest ice, the wide blades lock back to expose the shorter front blade for concentrated ice breaking. I was sick of plastic scrapers breaking and chipping and this brass-edged scraper is the solution.
I doubt I'll ever need another ice scraper, and I plan to give these as gifts next Christmas. I highly recommend this item.

Didn't Perform As I ExpectedNov 30, 2011
By Ed P. Bought scraper for my winter car, '01 Sunfire. Scraper arrived on-time. Appears to be constructed well & feels solid in hand. First real test was this morning-temp in mid 20's & hard frost on windows. Based on what I expected and how it performed, I was disappointed. It performed no better than any hard plastic scraper I've used b4. Only center 1" of blade made contact with glass & removed frost. Brass blade is ok but what's needed is flexible head.
Ice scraperFeb 11, 2012
By beppok Best ice scraper ever. Several options for scraping. Ice doesn't have a chance. Only problem is I've only gotten to use it 3 times. This Minnesota winter is more like Northern Kansas.
