Description:

THE WARM COMPANY-Warm and White Cotton Batting: Queen Size 90x108in. This batting will not separate; bunch or beard. This 100% USA grown cotton is punched with hundreds of needles through a thin base material (polymer fibers) to prevent tearing; shifting; migrating or creeping through the cover fabric making it 87.5% cotton/12.5% polymer fibers. Needled cotton's flexibility makes it ideal for both inside and outside use. Fibers are held together without glue so a quilting needle glides easily through the batting. What an incredible difference! No need to pre-wash; machine washable after quilted; can be used as an exterior fabric; quilt up to 10in apart; easily dyes and your fabric will cling to the batting while quilting. Made in USA.

4not bad, i thinkMay 28, 2011
By Veronica Taylor
The product came in a clear wrapper but it's probably the same stuff. I'm using it around the edge of a baby blanket as padding. I have not used batting before so, I'm not sure if it's a great product. What I did find is that the cotton makes fuzzies everywhere and tended to make little clumps of cotton when handled too much. I sewed it down really well just in case it started to ball up when washed. I have not washed it yet because I'm not done with the blanket. I have cotton fabric on top, so hopefully it won't turn out bad.

Update: the product didn't give me any problems in the wash.

5Wonderfully Warm and ComfyDec 20, 2010
By Allison Hathaway "Allison"
This was the perfect item for a quilt I am making for my mom out of her old tablecloths that had torn or stained spots. The cotton is beautiful and I love how it feels in contrast to the normal synthetics that are used for batting. The quilt turned out perfectly and has just the perfect weight and warmth for curling up under on a cold Midwestern night. I can't wait to see her face when she opens it on Christmas night!

4very nice and makes layering easyFeb 23, 2013
By Darla
I bought these for my quilting guild to use in our charity donation quilts. The main reason being that this batting does not require a quilt to be closely quilted....the quilting can be as much as 10 inches apart.

This batting made layering the quilt easy because fabric sort of sticks to it and does not slide out of place like a poly batting.

Our quilts were tied...about 6" between ties. The finished product has a nice weight and drapes nicely, stays folded when folded. One of our quilts was washed and dried by machine (to remove markings) and it looked the same as the ones that hadn't been washed.

This batting is probably not the best choice for hand quilting.

Also it claims to be the same as the "Warm and Natural" batting, but to me, it seems a little things her and lighter weight...just a little.

This seems like a nice batting and looks well in the quilt I just made. I did find it at Joannes cheaper on sale right after I bought it but it was here when I needed it
