The product came in a clear wrapper but it's probably the same stuff. I'm using it around the edge of a baby blanket as padding. I have not used batting before so, I'm not sure if it's a great product. What I did find is that the cotton makes fuzzies everywhere and tended to make little clumps of cotton when handled too much. I sewed it down really well just in case it started to ball up when washed. I have not washed it yet because I'm not done with the blanket. I have cotton fabric on top, so hopefully it won't turn out bad.
Update: the product didn't give me any problems in the wash.

This was the perfect item for a quilt I am making for my mom out of her old tablecloths that had torn or stained spots. The cotton is beautiful and I love how it feels in contrast to the normal synthetics that are used for batting. The quilt turned out perfectly and has just the perfect weight and warmth for curling up under on a cold Midwestern night. I can't wait to see her face when she opens it on Christmas night!

Item was exactly what I ordered and I was very pleased with it. Also, It was delivered promptly.
I liked the white color as I will be using it under light colored cotton cloth.
