1Poor Performance & Poor ConstructionJun 10, 2011
By Gregory P. Finn
I ordered 5 of these for my office, and will most likely have 5 of these in the garbage within a few months. First off - these look nice out of the box, with the shelf for markers and have a easy guide for hanging on the wall. However, all 5 of the board we recieved where crooked, like they were put together incorrectly. When one side of the board was touching the wall, the other would stick about an inch out. I figured that with some velcro I could easily fix the issue.

However, the biggest issue arose when trying to use the board for writing on - multiple times. I will also preface this comment by saying that I used brand new expo dry erase markers and expo dry erase board cleaner. After one use with a standard blue color, I simply could not remove the marker. I tried the standard dry erase board eraser and it just smeared the writing across the board, staining it. When I tried to remove it with cleaner - nothing happened. I now have a once-used, very blue board, with no way of cleaning it. I have included pictures with this review as well to support this.

I would not recommend these at all as they are a very poor product

5Does it's job!Jan 12, 2009

I bought this for my 8 year niece who likes to play "school." It's big (2'by 3') and was inexpensive. It's not magnetic though if that's what you are looking for. Great purchase!

5Not just for the officeDec 31, 2007

We got this board plus the markers and eraser for our kids as extra holiday gifts. It's the only one that all three still play with. It erases well and there are no messy art supplies. I recommend it highly.

1useless due to severe warping.Jun 28, 2011
By andrews
Despite reading the negative reviews for this item, I went against my better judgement and ordered it anyway [many reviews were great while only a few warned about the warping].
Firstly, the dry-erase board arrived in a poorly secured packaging [thin, flimsy cardboard box with ineffective, easily-breakable foam strips]; secondly, the board itself was so severely warped that it would not lay flat against the wall [one of the corners of the board stuck out about 3-4 inches from the wall!].
Not sure if the warping is due to the poor packaging or simply the poor quality of the item, however, this dry-erase board is completely useless as it cannot be laid flat against any surface, making it impossible for anyone to write properly on the board without it wobbling around and popping in and out from the wall. My board was returned promptly, and I would NOT recommend anyone purchasing it.

1WarpedNov 21, 2009

I am really unhappy with this board. It installed nicely onto the wall but after about 3 weeks it started to warp, for what reason - I don't know. Now one corner of the board sticks out about 6 inches from the wall, and it is ridiculous looking. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money buying this board.
