The theme of this puzzle was fun to do, but the pieces did not fit together well. They were very loose fitting - which was a surprise because I've had White Mountain puzzles before and they went together just fine.

At 1,000 pieces, this is certainly a challenge, but, with the cover as a guide, this puzzle is certainly not all that difficult. Organizing the pieces is the greatest challenge.
What a fun puzzle! Each picture from the 1970's is an icon! For those who lived through the seventies (as I did), this becomes a nostalgic riddle, a conversation piece, and hours of fun. I will use puzzle saver and wall hang this when it is done Puzzle Glue
White Mountain makes quality puzzles, so you will not be disappointed in this regard.

I bought this puzzle as a Christmas gift and we had a wonderful time putting it together - it took a while but, as a child of the 1970's, it brought back memories and lots of "remember when".

Puzzle arrived on time and was worth paying for express service. The '70's puzzle was what we expected it to be..plenty of pictures of that decades celebrities and other famous faces. I've purchased White Mountain puzzles before and there has been a guide to the faces, that is, a numbered diagram showing who's who. Unfortunately there was no diagram for this puzzle and it created plenty of unresolved questions about who's face we were working on. Unless you are a '70s historian chances are pretty good you would be clueless with at least 10% of the faces. While that in itself was disappointing, the actual puzzle was fine and met our expectations.

This is not a toy for a child.....it is a toy for an adult. I loved putting this puzzle together (I am a 54 year old CPA). I loved finding all the familiar faces and scenes and the puzzle pieces were distinctive enough to make finding them fun!
