3Cute, but not protected for shipping!Oct 22, 2007
By S. Leonard
This broom is cute and at a good price, but they didn't protect it much. Only wrapped the "broom part" with plastic and there was no other wrapping on it anywhere. Handle has to be painted or sanded and stained because it was beat up through the shipping process. If they would have just put plastic on it, it would have been fine.

5Not JUST FOR KIDS!Nov 13, 2010
By alienlady "alienlady"
FIRST OFF - The picture they are showing for this item IS WRONG. This is a REAL MINIATURE BOOM... NOT A Round Fluffy Colorful whatever that thing is they are picturing.

Anyway....

Why am I reading review after review that this Broom is so GREAT FOR KIDS?

Come-on, am I the only Broken Backed Old Lady that can't get the sand/dirt out from under the raised legs furniture or from the BLOCKED corner areas of the rooms?

Some places even the Swiffer that collects dust bunnies won't even suffice. On tile floors, the Swiffer only moves the gritty sand into the grout and from place to place anyway.

The household broom is waaaay to big for ALL of my blocked corners. I can't sweep the dirt out without being a contortionist with the wide boom bristles. The darn thing ends up flicking the dirt BACK where I just pulled it out from.

This "LITTLE BROOM" is a God Send! Perfect if you have back trouble or are overweight and cannot get on your hands and knees and reach into the BLOCKED areas to sweep dirt/sand out with a dust pan brush - like I did back when I was in prime shape.

Do not be misled by all the reviews FOR KIDS! It is perfect for ADULTS to get into the places you can't get a Standard WIDE Bottom bristle boom into.

I have been needing this for over two years now and I just finally took the time to get it. If you can't get into the corners and get the sand/dirt out... this little bugger is for you!

5Great Bang for your BuckJul 31, 2010

Our 2 year old daughter loves this broom. She 'helps' sweep everywhere now. The height is a little much for her but she'll grow into it. The shipping padding other people commented on seems to have improved since ours was padded better. It is like a regular bristle broom they do come out, but not all the time. This is a great price and is better quality than more expensive ones we found in stores. Even IF our daughter didn't love it as some other purchaser's children did not I still would say it was a great value. Who can determine a child's temperament?

5Toy Broom - a perfect sweep!Mar 02, 2009
By M. Johnson "nanav"

This little broom was just as I imagined, a perfect fit for my 2 and 3 year old granddaughters who love to sweep Nana's porch. Received in a very timely fashion in great condition.

4Baby needs a broom.Dec 31, 2010

Every time I take my granddaughter out on the patio she grabs the big broom and tries to sweep. At 20 pounds (the baby. not the broom), this 17 month old can't handle that big broom. She loves the little one I got her from Amazon and it was the first thing she wanted to play with on christmas -- she started sweeping out the playpen. I would recommend it for any child who wants to be mama's helper.
