The antenna is a decent antenna if you don't need a lot of distance. I did a lot of research on glass mount antennas before I bought this one. They can't be mounted on a window with factory tent or over an area that has a defrost wire without a reduced signal. That left me with little options. I mounted it on the top left side of my vehicles windshield. It has a lot wind noise, probably because of the coils, so much that I'm removing it.

Other than the high-pitched wind noise when driving at high speeds, this antenna is actually very good. I was able to pick up on some fairly distant CB signals with clear reception. Recommended.

Item received in a reasonable time frame and in perfect condition. 1 problem was that it came w/o instructions. I have to assume that a small screw in the center is an adjustment.

I have used window mount antennas for over 20 years on the ham bands and overall, the tradeoffs in performance were worth the ease of installation. Not so with this Tram window mount antenna for the CB band. I could have connected my CB to a dummy load and achieved a better level of performance than what I got from this antenna. Receives poorly, very touchy and tedious to set up initially. Tuning took a long time and any little item that changed (including the vehicle's speed) changed the SWR on the antenna. You're better off with a K30 or the Lil Wil magnet mount than this antenna. Weather Band worked OK, but not near the performance on distant stations as I could get out of the K30 that replaced this antenna. One honorable mention is that mounting this antenna was a breeze, and it stayed on during high speed driving and a couple of automatic car washes. No instructions are included with this little guy, but there are many websites that describe the installation of window mount antennas in general in excruciating detail.Good luck! Nick KZ9P

Easy to install. Glue seems to be holding well. Reception seems to be ok. Time will tell how well it stays on. So far so good though.
