Great addition to lunchJun 29, 2010
By Lane This ice mat is great when you don't want to use those large ice blocks that usually come with lunch boxes. The ice mat is divided into small cubes so it will fold over and around your food. So far I've not experienced any leakage and it's easy to just pop it in the freezer at the end of the day so it's ready for lunch tomorrow.

Does what its supposed toOct 28, 2010
By Mr. Gary L. Gerber Each one comes in it's own plastic sealed baggie. There is no reason to remove them from the baggie and the baggie can be wiped off. Leaving them in the sealed bag does not take up more room and gives it a little more protection from damage and after using 3 for over 2 months i've seen no damage to them. Refreeze each night. I use all three in the lunch bag each day so it stays cooler longer, but you should assess your needs for chillin' yourself. Does what i expected and i'm not disappointed.

Ice that travelsAug 29, 2010
By Helen Wheels I bought this to use in my lunch bag and they work great. They are flat, so they don't take up much room either in the freezer or the lunch bag. They were still cold after an eight-hour day.

Not bad for the money!!Oct 07, 2010
By A. chan I purchased this for my husband and son for their lunch. I bought the nine piece one. It fits perfectly in my sons lunchbox. I wash them out each night and re-freeze. They usually are still very cold at the end of the day and they keep the food nice and cold. I know others have said that they tend to rip. I would say they are good quality but can easily shred or tear if there are forks or sharp objects in the box pressing into it. Even the corner of a juice box can shred it. There are a few things you can do though like put it in a plastic ziplock or wrap anything sharp in a paper towel or napkin. But these are well worth the money and they do the job. I will be ordering another set. So far mine have held up nicely.

FantasticApr 07, 2011
By Carib This mat is great.Perfect for keeping your food chilled until you are ready for it.My doughter likes her freshly squeezed fruit juices cool(maybe becose we live in Jamaica)especially taking them to school, these mats make sure that her snaks and drinks are fresh all year long.If you have an insulated lunch bag it last even longer. This is the second set we have now,you have to be carefull where you keep them in the freezer,my nanny put them on a lobster, so we end up having quite a few holes in them .
