 Great Sippy CutAug 03, 2010
Great cup. A little hard to clean-the bottom is difficult to remove and if not removed never drys which could cause mold. I would buy it again but I do not think I will have to. Very durable, long lasting safe bottle.

This is my first review and my daughter is 18 months old. I was on the search for the sippy cup that would not leak. I bought this cup from a boutique and it was not cheap. I LOVED the idea that it turns into the straw cup b/c my daughter is moving in that direction. BUT it is horrible! I don't know which feature is worse: the leaking everywhere or the HORRIBLE smell. I am a very anal and clean person and therefore I wash everything in hot soapy water and even will put it in the dishwasher, it is dishwasher safe AND it still stinks! The smell is really really bad. I would not but this product or recommend it to anyone.
Save your money.

I, like many parents, had tried every sippy cup out there, and was disappointed. This cup is super! As long as you snap the handles down correctly and insert the different sipper plugs tightly, there are NEVER, EVER leaks. The best part is that it keeps the beverage colder so much longer than other plastic cups. My 2-year-old son loves this cup because he can use it like a bottle if he wants to, and he loves that you can change it to the straw sipper too. The size is great--fits in my purse to bring into restaurants, parks, etc. Some folks complained that it's not transparent, so you don't know how much liquid is left--I don't worry about that. My son tells me when it's empty, and a simple shake lets you know pretty much if it needs a refill. I was worried about spending the extra cash on yet another sippy, but I know for sure that this is the last one I'll ever have to buy, and it'll last FOREVER! Definitely worth the price. I just wish I had found this one sooner!

This cup is my 3.5 year old daughter's ABSOLUTE FAVORITE cup, and has been so for over a year. I love that it is stainless steel with no bad plastic stuff to worry about and it does NOT leak! We do not go anywhere without our "blue cup" (as my daughter calls it) filled with water. I highly recommend this cup. The only time it ever leaks has been on occasion when, after the cup has taken a fall, the no spill thing has fallen out inside the cup.
It is also very durable- it goes with us everywhere and gets dropped a lot, but has held up extremely well!! And it is very easy to clean (the green rubber part on the outside comes off) and all of the parts can be thrown in the dishwasher (we have to hand wash it b/c my daughter will not go without it long enough to fill and run the dishwasher). It really is not hard to get the green cover on and off, contrary to what at least one reviewer has said. It is a great, durable, leak-proof, BPA Free cup and I would highly recommend it!! We have absolutely gotten our money's worth from this cup!!

I was surprised to see all the bad reviews. I've tried several sippy cups including klean kanteen, sigg, and foogo and this is the only one my 12 month old can use on his own. He loves it, so I love it. In general stainless steel cups tend to be a bit heavy or lack handles, but this one has handles and a straw attachment so he doesn't need to hold it up to drink. Works great. It does leak if turned upside down and often leaks into the cap when I put it in the diaper bag. I just use it for water so it's not a problem for me, but if leaking is a big concern you should probably look for an alternative.
