Met all my criterionSep 23, 2011

I was looking for a bag that would hold all of the gear I use for kayaking. The most difficult criterion was a bag that would hold the paddle. My paddle breaks into two pieces, the longest of which is about 50" long. I was searching amazon for some sort of duffel bag that would hold the paddle parts, the life jacket, foam blocks for roof of the car, straps to hold the kayak to the car bumper..... This bag met these criterion with interest. After placing all this stuff in the bag, I still have room. The bag is made of really thick canvas material that, I believe, will hold up over time. The zipper appear to be a durable heavy duty zipper. Since I have had the bag for only a few weeks, I can NOT give information on long term wear and tear but it looks promising. Bag showed up within a day of when promised. The price seemed reasonable for what I was looking for.
So if you need a really really (really) large duffel bag, I'd recommend this item.

This is one great big, tough bag. I am using it for heavy photo equipment, and it is holding up great so far. It can actually hold more than I can lift!

This bag far exceeded my expectations given the price, it was massive, fit in everything but the kitchen sink and didn't even get a scrape even after I dragged it across sidewalks, airports and on and off trains. If you need a bag this size, seriously don't even look at another bag. Buy it.

This bag is just what I was looking for. I wanted a large bag in which to place my Thai massage mat for transport without the mat getting dirty. This bag is the perfect size for this purpose. And the price is really affordable. Can't really say about durability, as I just purchased it.
