By DannyRay Paid $29.00 for this thing. The scale worked ok for a few months then we had to change the battery. About every month after that the battery would die and, we only used it a couple of times per week. We replaced the battery with the same kind it came with CR2032. It gets expensive paying $5.00 for a battery every month. If you do decide to throw your money away buying this scale make sure you take the battery out after each use. I am totally disappointed.

Accurate, stylish and reasonbly-priced!Apr 20, 2009

So far, I'm very happy with this scale. I was looking for one that *just* measured weight--not fat percentage, muscle mass, etc. It's attractive and unobtrusive, didn't break the bank, and is both consistent and accurate. I checked it against the mega-bucks scale at our medical office, and it gave the same weight. Plus, when I tested it by weighing myself four times in succession, it gave the exact same weight each time. An excellent buy!

Accurate to at least 327.8 poundsFeb 08, 2010

I researched many scales (I'm an engineer) and decided on this one. I had previously had to weigh myself on two mechanical scales and add both MOVING TARGETS because my weight exceeded each one of them individually. This scale "locks onto" your final weight and then flashes with NO AMBIGUITY about the final value. My weight is now 270.8 after only (seems longer) two and a half months(12 weeks) While I can't say that the purchase of this scale caused my success it did facilitate good consistent and accurate readings with which to achieve my goal(s). The extra-large readout allowed me to take a digital picture and email it to my buddy on the east coast, with whom I am having a weight loss contest. If you are weighing a package less than 10 pounds it doesn't lock-on. Any package weighing more than that is EXACTLY the weight that the PostOffice scale comes up with - testimony to my scale's accuracy. Good luck with your scale and weight-loss (I don't know of any other reason to buy a scale). To verify my weight-loss claim, I can give you the site where I log on to post my weight-progress and the type diet I am on.

Good ScaleMay 06, 2011
By Brian I stayed at the recently opened JW Marriot in Chicago. They had this scale in the bathroom. It is compact and good looking. Mine is dead on for measuring weight. We have had it for about a month and everyone in my family uses it daily. So far it has been great.

Love it!Jul 04, 2009
By Cynthia Boger Great scale for a great price. It's as accurate as accurate can be, seems no matter how many times I step on and off of it it always show the same weight as before. The design is slim, sleek, and suits pretty much any type of decor. It's very attractive and very sturdy for being so thin.
I have not had any issues with this regarding the battery life like some people -- mine turns off automatically within ten seconds of stepping off of it and I've been using it almost daily for over a month now.
