Rapid Reading, Non-Slip, Don't neet to "tap"Apr 17, 2010

"Art"
This scale is unusually good in several respects: 1. Rapidly ready for weighing 2. Don't need to tap it to start it; just get on it. 3. Fairly rapid weight reading. 4. Non-slip. Very safe for a scale. 5. Light weight for its size. 6. Large numbers, easy to read. I got it for several older folks in our family and it is working out quite well.

Watch those lbs!Mar 15, 2010

I find this scale very easy to read and is right on with the doctor's scale. Sometimes that is good, sometimes NOT. It also has a very classic look and fits just fine in the bathroom spot designated.

Well designed bathroom scalesJul 14, 2010
By Tom A nice item for the price.
Only four stars because the first one didn't work. However, much to their credit Amazon refunded the full amount of the return postage even though it was more than their
estimate.
Large display is easy to see. The only problem is that it reads high. :)

Inaccurate and impreciseSep 04, 2010
By Chris from San Francisco This scale is both inaccurate (it gives results that differ from a well-calibrated hospital scale) and - more troubling - imprecise (it gives different readings when you hop on and off). The inaccuracy and imprecision are both in excess of one pound. OK if you want to tell whether you've gained/lost 5 pounds but useless for daily tracking. If you care about measurement, don't buy this scale.

NOT preciseAug 26, 2010
By Eliezer ben Avrohom While it is good enough for my ball-park purposes, anyone who wants to measure their weight changes in small increments will not be satisfied with this scale. I find that if I weigh myself, say, two or three times within minutes of each other, the weights can vary by as much as an entire pound!! Only very rarely will two consecutive weighings come out with the same figure. They are virtually always off by several tenths of a pound.
I find that the most consistent weight readings come when I stand in the center of the scale with my feet touching each other, but even then they will not be exactly the same.
I do NOT recommend this product. If I hadn't already discarded the packaging, I would return it for a refund.
