Awesome for the priceMar 15, 2010

These table cloth clamps were exactly what I was looking for. They fit on my dining room table perfect and have kept my table cloth in place despite two young children pulling at it. They are not pretty but extremely effective. Just make sure you have enough hangover on the lip to your table. I was only able to put them on the ends as they stuck out on the sides. Overall I am extremely pleased. Nice tight grip.

By memphis it works fine and much better than the plastic spring loaded version which had to be replaced constantly from breaking. they have so far been without issue save for having to take a pair of pliers occasionally to make sure they lay flat when they get manipulated, but they hold shape well otherwise.

Works For MeSep 25, 2011
By g45 I almost did not buy this product because of the comments re the inability to work well on "thick" tables. I thought I would pass on that they work very well on our kitchen table. It is wooden, with a ceramic tile top that we cover with a liner and a cloth tablecloth. The total thickness is ~2.125 inches, but they appear to easily clamp as thick as 2.5 inches. Hope this is useful to others who may be holding back on purchasing because of table thickness.

Basic Clips that work wellOct 15, 2010

We chose these because they are metal and can be bent to fit different types of tables. They held up even in the windy area we held our event.

Doesn't work on many tablesAug 01, 2011
By Allan We used this for the first time on a car camping trip. The site had a picnic table, but these clamps did not work because of the thickness of table. The clamps kept flying off, because we tried to force them on, but they'd go flying off after a few minutes. These will probably work on a typical aluminum picnic table, but the heavy duty wooden tables found at most campgrounds are not compatable with the clamps. They should have made them wider, because they still would work on the thinner tables, and then could work on the thicker ones.
