The best of the bestJun 08, 2009

Hands down the best soothing balm for sore aches and pains. It is not icy hot treatment like Ben Gay or similar. It is a naturally occuring warmth that occurs where you apply it and within moments the pain naturally goes away. I do not know how this works or why the pain goes away, but it does. All those over the counter medicines for pain does nothing compared to this. There are no side effects and it also calms the senses because of the very pleasing essences. I would not buy anything else. You won't be disappointed with this little can.
It lasts forever, even if you use it everyday to treat neck and shoulder aches. A little goes a long way and applying too much is a waste. Rub it in "hard" (Use a few slow, deep strokes) and within seconds you should have relief. Within minutes, most or all of it should be gone.

Too good to be trueJun 08, 2009

I use the regular strength badger balm and was so impressed that I wanted to try the extra strength one here. It was almost as good, but it left red rashes where it was applied because of the red peppers in it. I was disappointed, but my husband decided to use it and loved it! He doesn't get the red rashes and scoops up this little can when he is sore and applies it to his calves and shoulders. I am happy that it works so well for him, the reason for the four stars, but I use the regular strenth rated at 5 stars. This one doesn't smell as relaxing as the regular, but it still does not have a bad smell or anything. I would recommend it for those who do not have sensitive skin.

Works like it says it does a nice treat for sore muscles!Jan 19, 2008
This is by far the best muscle rub that I have used and its not made in china or thailand... something you have to wonder about these days. I play rugby on the club level and nothing has help my overworked muscles like Badger. In addition the smell is so pleasant you wish it would not washes out so easily. My wife forbade me from using any type of ben-gay or tiger balm after I stunk up the laundry. I am very happy with Badger!

I've used Sore Muscle Rub in the past but this fine company sent a sample of the Sore Joint Rub with another smaller container of the muscle rub. This product is awesome-I get a lot of swelling in the ankles and feet and by rubbing this on, I get immeditate relief. I will definately be purchasing more in the future!

Works great, smells even better.Nov 02, 2013
I buy these for my mother. She adores them and in many times can help her get through a tough night of no sleep because of pain. Which happens often.
A bit of badger balm and at least the pain will go away or lessen enough to allow her to rest, even if insomnia still wont let her sleep. A little something goes a long a way.
The smell is amazing too. Has its uses as aromatherapy long with pain relief.
