If you're buying these speakers and you're expecting very good sound, please go buy from klipsch or some other American brand... These speakers do alright for their price, but it's not the best speakers ever... They sound descent if you've never had a home theater system before. It is a good pair of speakers if you're just starting out and want to enjoy the surround sound system. The sub-woofer, however, is extremely weak. You will not get the movie theater "boom" when you hear explosions and such. It is so weak that you might as well just not have it. Maybe if you pair up a different sub-woofer with this setup, it might be better. Otherwise, the product is quite a disappointment.

I've purchased this surround system for 199 USD which was a great price for such a quality set. I use it as a 5.1 with big front boxes attached to a SONY STR-DN2010 and the sound is perfect for me. I totally recommend it to all who have doubts.

I bought this set of speakers for roughly $130, which was indeed a deal breaker. I enjoy it very much and there is no reason for me not to like it. But I doubt it it's worth $400 as it is priced now.

Sounds great,looks good, very good sound for small/medium size rooms. Fairly easy set-up,I'm not a "geek" so that was good.
Price is good for what I needed.

Easy to install and the sound is excellent. Since the speakers are Sony I also chose a Sony receiver and I guess that may have made it easier. I always try to use Consumer Reports when I make a major purchase and this Sony was listed as a best buy
at retail pricing, but I got them at a bargain.
