 The bird sound is not what I expectedMay 02, 2012

Audobon birds are a lovely little gift. I've purchased other "species" for my granddaughters and they love them. I expected these owls to sound like the one in my yard (a soothing hoo hoo). The sound from these stuffed owls is a bit annoying but is probably "authentic". I'm not sure my daughter will enjoy having these in the house.

Bought this for my 8 year old grandson. He loves it and takes it everywhere. Very well made and realistic in detail.

I gave this to a friend of mine. Snowy owls are her favorite animal, and she loves it! She says its durable and adorable. The face was a little squashed when I first got it. I tried to mush the face to it's original form, but it still looks a little funny. The picture looks much better than the real thing. The authentic bird sound is a cool feature, but not really necessary.

My grandson likes Harry Potter and this Owl is very
close to the character Hedwig. He is also reading
books on Owls.
It should sell very well and is educational.

We have two granddaughters, one is 15 months old and the other is 18 months old. Both have been fascinated with birds for a number of months and have learned the sign for bird, which they use if they see or hear a bird. Our Beatrix (15months) has a strong fixation about Owls. They have books, pictures and now a wonderful fluffy, realistic owl, with the correct call the bird makes. All of the birds from this collection are big hits.
