5Snoozer Bicycle Basket SeatsApr 16, 2009
By Traveler "Traveler"
Ordered two these about a month ago and used for the first time yesterday.
They take seconds to install on the bike and have plenty of room for our toy Australian Shepards. After running around for about an hour, we took them for a ride and they loved it. I would recommend a harness on the dogs instead of a collar. The smaller aussie is very agile and managed to climb on top of the basket. If she had leapt or fallen before I got her back inside, she would have been hanging by her neck. Other than that they both seemed very comfortable after a few minutes and curious about everything around them that they could now see from above. The basket has a padded bottom and the basket retains it's shape well (no collapsing). It does however, collapse easily for nearly flat storage. Being in an RV we love that since space is limited.
Downside-they are VERY PRICEY in my opinion. With the materials and construction, though very good, I believe the product is overpriced and the company is taking advantage of the fact that something like this is hard to find. It would be nice if they advertised a little and went for profit by volume so more people could afford it.

3Good product but you need a bike with a high handlebarJun 02, 2010
By S. Amponin
I have a hybrid bike and the bottom of the basket did not clear the front tire. I can only adjust the handlebar so high so it didn't work out. It did, however, fit well with some adjusting of the brake lines on my mountain bike which has a higher handlebar. The basket is 9 inches tall so make sure you measure how high your handlebar is from the front tire. It was a little harder to steer the bike with the added weight. My dog moved side to side when I steer. She is a 9 lb Shih Tzu and fit comfortably inside the basket. The basket did not sag at the bottom because it has a metal reinforcement that sat against the fork of the bike. I ended up getting the Topeak rear basket instead so it doesn't interfere with steering and it can support my dog's adult weight (15 lbs) better.

5Great dog basket!Aug 30, 2010
By Mommy2Cali
My dog is about 15 lbs and fits snug in this basket, but has a blast going for bike rides with me! He enjoys that he can come with me on rides. Easy to set up...takes about 2 mins. Supports any bike for installation and holds up well with all the weight. suggested for dogs that are not high-energy and 15lbs or less.

4Bike BasketAug 16, 2009

The snoozer buddy works well, with the exception that the basket with the dog in wants to pull to one side or the other. I placed two plastic wire ties on each side attached to the handlebars and this eliminated this problem. The dog enjoys riding in the basket.

5Great ride for both of us!Dec 08, 2010
By greatvet1 "greatvet1"
I really wanted to be able to take my little dog biking with me, so I got this basket after reading the good reviews. She is a little bigger than the typical small dog: 12 lbs, 12" tall at the shoulders and 12" long. She is a Japanese Chin. She doesn't fit completely down in the basket, but can sit in it comfortably once I get her situated. It didn't take any breaking in at all, she loved it and took to it right away. I put her halter on, clipped her into the safety restraint, and off we went! She rides calmly, with the wind in her hair. We both LOVE it! The basket is a little wobbly at first, but we have tightened everything down and it rides just fine. I haven't had to use the rain fly at all, but the pockets are perfect for keeping a retractable leash and such.
