Does exactly what I expected. When I wake up for work, sometimes my wife is still sleeping. I want to listen to the TV in the bathroom as I get ready for work but I don't want to wake her. This solved the problem. I bought an audio coupler for $0.99 and connected the TV audio out to the transmitter, turned off the TV speakers and viola! The speaker hangs in my shower and I can listen to TV in the bathroom without waking my wife. Awesome! She hooks up her iPod to the transmitter when she's in the bathroom for a soak in the tub or getting ready to go out. No issues with interference or volume.. then again I'm only transmitting over about 15' or so. Battery life has been good so far. Wish there was an indicator for the bass boost so you could tell if it is on or off (you have to press it and listen for the distortion) but I never need to use it so whatev. Again, perfect for what I needed so it gets the 5 stars!

This product is perfect for my situation because I have a radio in my bathroom but have a new baby in the room next to it. Plug in the transmitter turn it on, hang the speaker on the shower curtain bar (after installing batteries), and voila music you can hear in the shower without waking the baby. I have also carried the speaker into the basement while I grabbed something out of the dryer with good reception. The caution is that the plug that goes into the audio jack is kind of flimsy. This was the second similar item I purchased. The first was labeled "Smartek Audio", it worked fine but the plug broke on me. The Audio Unlimited (this one) is a better product because it comes with an additional power cord for the speaker and has the option to run the transmitter on batteries (in case you want to use it at the beach or pool. I recommend rechargeable batteries just because the speaker takes 6 AAs. The sound quality in my opinion is very good considering it is only a single speaker. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the flimsy plug.

This thing works sooo well! It comes with the option to either use batteries (not included, you need 10 AA) or both components also adapt to be plugged in to the wall. The sound quality is really, really good. It gets very loud, I can listen to it from the other room even. The signal is clear, and it's really easy to use. I love it!!

I purchased this item for my daughter who likes to sing in the shower. The speaker quality is so good, the whole family has been using it to take out to the garage when working on projects, to the hot tub and just around the house. The only downfall is that the song selection cannot be controlled from the speaker. We get the occasional scream from the shower asking to skip a song or change the play list. Other than that it is wonderful.

This wireless speaker system had me all excited only to be left extremely disappointed. I managed to get one shower while listening to my music. After one shower, the speakers could not pick up the music. Needless to say, I am terribly disappointed. The only reason I gave it one star is because the system won't let you review without giving it one star. My suggestion is "DO NOT PURCHASE" this item. You will be disappointed.
