The socks arrived and I used them in Colorado skiing - they kept my feet really warm - definitely a must for those with the tendency for cold feet. Not too tight or difficult to take off or put on.

My wife uses them for running outdoors in Minnesota's winter and she loves them. Keeps her feet warm and comfortable. The size chart provided was accurate so the right size sock was ordered and received.

I was looking for a water sock for my daughter as she was going on a scuba trip (swimming with Manatees in FL). A friend suggested wearing a water sock along with a wet suit and fins to keep feet warmer. However, the product I wanted to buy (NeoSport Water Sock; http://www.amazon.com/NeoSport-Wetsuits-Premium-Neoprene-Water/dp/B003554EHC/ref=pd_sbs_a_4) could not be delivered next day in her size. In fact, I had a tough time figuring out what size she needed. She wears a women's size 7 and I thought she might need a small in Neosock. Amazon really needs to improve the product information for both NeoSock and NeoSport Water Sock to include shoe sizing instead of apparel sizing!!!
It turns out size 'Small' is too small for her foot. I will need to return it. Other than sizing issue, the sock looks to be of high quality in terms of materials and construction. Talking about size, I found this invaluable information on the product packaging. If I had been able to determine the actual size, I would not have to return the product. I hope you find this helpful.

I would suggest getting a size larger than you think you need. I normally wear a 10.5 shoe, but the large here was quite tight. Sizes according to the package are SM 4-5 MD 6-8.5 LG 9-11.5 XL 11.5-13, all mens sizes, add a half size for womens. I kind of guessed on sizes because Amazon's sizing info does not really help. The other reason for a size larger is that you will probably want a liner inside to soak up sweat or else your foot and ankle just stay sweaty. I assumed they were waterproof, but it says right on the package, "Constructed with seams not sealed." I have yet to run through any big puddles while wearing them, but my feet stay warm and dry while running in deep snow with snow in my shoes.
On the positive side they are really warm. They make getting into boots and shoes really easy. They are pretty thin so you can still wear regular shoe sizes. They seem to be quite water resistant and wind resistant. For the price I am very happy with them so far, just wished I had got a bigger size.

I bought these socks for winter running and actually anything outdoors in the winter, hockey on the lake, shoveling, etc. The came pretty snug. I'm an 11 and right on the borderline between the two sizes and would order the next size up next time. I'm actually surprised by how comfortable they are and don't overheat when I wore them to shovel then go in and out of stores running errands immediately after. I have to say, they do make slipping into my skates and boots easier as the neoprene is slick on the outside. All in all, I would buy these again but only plan to order a size larger.
