This net that attached to the feeder apparantly scared the birds because they would not feed while it was attached. So....I put the hoop back in the box and on a shelf in my garage. I may find another use for it later.

This product adapts EASILY to a POLE FEEDER ALSO. It does exactly as advertised - I didn't want seed all over my grass since it grows and looks awful. Plus MY DOGS ate the seeds and that can't be good. This is a great product!

This seed hoop keeps 95% of the seed off of the ground. It catches what the birds scratch out of the feeder. It also doubles as a second feeder as the birds land on it and eat from it as well. It has worked out well.

The seed hoop does keep the most of the seed off of the ground; however, in a very strong wind it will lose the seed to the ground. It took a while but the birds will now land and feed on the seed in the hoop. The plastic snap connectors that attach to the hoop itself should be made from metal. One of the ones I used just snapped off very easily. I would have given this a five star review except for the plastic snaps. I would buy this item again in the future.

It's my favorite thing I purchased over 2 years ago. The birds love it also and I can't believe how many more varieties of birds I have at my feeder now.
I keep it up year 'round. Wonderful!
