LOVE THIS SEED HOOPJan 29, 2011

I love this product! This is truly the best invention since packaged bird seed. The birds LOVE this, but I have to say, my cats HATE it. What more could I say?

bird seed hoopJan 08, 2011
By Debbij This is the greatest. I love it so much I ordered another. It catches all the bird seed that those little feathered friends throw out of the feeder onto the ground if I didn't have this great item. It helps 3 ways, keeping the seed off the ground for my dogs to eat, YUK, saving potentially wasted seed cause the birds can eat right off the hoop, and it keeps the seed from ruining the grass under the feeder. It's a win win item for sure.

Very Durable.Dec 01, 2010
By David S. Profitt I've had two of these on different bird feeders for several months. They do a great job at capturing food and have saved a lot of rot on my grass. I had to put a rock in each, otherwise doves would tip them by landing on the edges, spilling the seed. Even finch seed is caught and does not fall through the netting (very much). I am very happy with the product, and enjoy watching the birds scavenge for good seed among the hulls. It's almost like having a platform feeder under each of my regular feeders. I highly recommend!
Edit: It's been several months and a full harsh winter. I have two of these and they are holding strong!
Great Idea!!!!!Dec 31, 2011
By Pat SW New Mexico I had been trying to figure out how to make something like this, because the falling seed had created a hill on my new lawn under my feeder pole. More seed and sunflower shells fall into this than on the ground. When it get full I just shop vac the mess out of it. My cat has tried to get to the birds since buying these hoops. Now after a couple attempts and having the strings give way under her weight, She has given up! All I had to do was hike up the side my cat had pulled down and we were in business again catching seed. Great product! I will see how long this will last under the desert sun throughout this summer, but I would buy these again if needed. The vendor sent them so quick. I couldn't believe how fast they came, since it was just before Christmas.
The thought was there, but.....Sep 22, 2011
By Diane K. Cox I bought this for my mom's bird feeder. She gets a lot of birds, sometimes 10-20 at a time throughout the day. But, as soon as we attached this to the feeder, the birds stopped coming. She left it on for a week or so so that they would get use to it, but they never did. She put it on the ground under the feeder so that it would still catch the seeds. The birds started coming back so she gradually lifted the hoop up the pole, but that just chased them away. Even the blue jays stopped coming.
