Decent enoughOct 12, 2008
By Douglas P. Hartley I bought this mirror to attach to my desk so I can see the outdoors that's normally out of view.
I'd say this mirror provides a good-enough, general office rear view.
Beware, however, that its convex (fish eye) shape distorts the view so much that you can't see detail in a way that the human eye is used to.
I found a nonconvex mirror instead to put on my desk so I can see the outdoors clearly.
I'm going to take this mirror to work where I don't care about the image integrity as much.
Meanwhile, the clip is sturdy and its flexible arm does the job right. It's well made.
It is pretty large, larger than your standard office rearview mirror; it's larger than your standard hand mirror, but I like this about it.

Great MirrorDec 19, 2008
By Shane Foster First and foremost, this is a 7" mirror. It is not as subtle as some of the cubicle "rear-view" mirrors out there. It does a fantastic job doing what a mirror does but if you don't want everyone walking by your cube to say, "Wow, you've got a mirror there, clever idea." then this probably isn't the product you're looking for. I'll concur with another reviewer that the mirror's surface seems a bit delicate, but for my purposes this won't be an issue. The clip is sufficient and the flexible neck holds it's position well.

Good Mirror, but scratches easily.Nov 07, 2006

Excellent mirror, but I would recommend a glass mirror if it's going to be exposed to any abuse. The surface is a little delicate.

Solved my problemAug 03, 2008
By M. McMillen People can no longer sneak up on me! I attached this mirror over my monitors and now have a complete view of people coming into my cubicle. Because I deal with confidential/sensitive information I can't run the risk of someone looking over my shoulder. This mirror totally solved my problem.

Great idea for those in cubicles!Jan 17, 2012

For those of you who sit in a cubical all day with your back to the entrance of your space, you know how frustrating it can be when you're interrupted by someone passing giving you a piece of info or just saying, "hi". After you've been startled, you crane your neck around and they've already passed and you've missed who was speaking to you.
This product helps immensely and saves me time and some distractions. I don't have to jump up and look down the hall to see who was asking for that report that I'm in the middle of finishing. It also helps from getting startled as frequently as before. For those of you goodie-two-shoes who have tried to make out that people who buy desk mirrors are somehow goofing off, you must not be busy enough or reliable enough to have people frequently stopping in to ask you for help.
This mirror is large, but not HUGE! it's a prefect size to see everything behind me. It is well made and it's one of the most valuable items in my cube! I highly recommend it!
