First time I installed a car alarm and it wasnt easy. But after some pain and suffering, I got a great alarm in my car now. The range on it is way better than I thought and it doesnt even have an antenna, I mean I can be so far away that I can barley hear it chirp. If you just want a one way alarm, dont spend anything more get this one. The only bad thing I can say about it is the siren sound is a lil old school, but its the easiest thing to replace if you want a diff one but I really could care less, its loud and tells people to f off. I was about to spend a hundred on the viper 3002 but glad I didnt.

seemed like a good product, though inexpensive. i bought my first crimestopper back in 1990. had this one in about a week when it went off by itself for no apparent reason. then i would come out of a resturant and find it had gone off. i had the sensitivity turned almost all the way down. it got to where i would see it arm and disarm by itself. perhaps the frequency it uses is too commonly used. ive disconnected it. a waste of $40 cash and about 20 headaches.

This alarm was a snap to install. Has a lot of features for the price. I bought it for the keyless entry feature and had to buy a couple additional $5 relays to make the keyless work. A very reasonable price for what I received.

I wanted a keyless entry system for my 90 mustang gt. I didn't need or want anyting fancy. So i decided to go with this so i would have an alarm if i wanted one. Very easy to install and everything works just as it should. This system also has a great operating range. One note, my mustang has reverse polarity door locks and the hook up instructions in the manual are wrong. I have done many installs so i picked up on it right away. So if you are installing yourself and have these type door locks go to 12volt and get the correct relay wiring diagram. If you want just a basic alarm keyless entry trunk pop at a great price pick this up.

-This product was a bargain. The alarm works great, sensitivity adjustable (Ranges from soft bump on the car to heavy door slam impact).
-One problem is that it rarely goes off on its own without any contact and the alarm controller receiver is sensitive to climate change and it will affect the range of the controller.
-I installed this myself into a 93' Pontiac with no prior experience which saved me about $150. Overall I would buy this again if I had the choice
