Engaging and useful software gameMay 18, 2004

This program is cheerful and fun. My kids love it. The educational content is strong yet it still manages to hold children's interest. Good for children who need to reinforce simple phonics, like beginning sounds, ending sounds, long and short vowel sounds, etc. Inexpensive and very recommended!
Great ProgramFeb 02, 2012
By Mom of 4 I've used this with all 4 of my children. My 3 boys LOVED it and were all reading well before they entered kindergarten. My girl isn't really into computer games and didn't play much. She's the only one who didn't read early. My youngest is still 4 and knows what digraphs and blends are and can sound out all kinds of things that he would've been bored learning any other way.

poor excuse for a phonics programDec 31, 2003
This program has nothing that could assist any child learn or review phonics. The so-called game reward is merely more work, and the work has no value ! If you are looking for a program that provides a learning experience, look elsewhere. If you think this will provide some sort of meaningful review of phonics, you will be quite disappointed. The producers of this program should hang their heads in shame!
