 Best mouse pad I have ever owned.Aug 11, 2011

Tested with a Microsoft Sidewinder X8 and a Logitech G700.
Simply put this is the best mouse pad I have ever owned.
I've been gaming on the PC for about 20 years playing every type of game there is, MMO, RPG, FPS, and RTS mostly. I've gone through more mouse pads then I can count. With most cloth pads the mouse doesn't glide as well, with plastic ones sometimes the tracking can sometimes be spotty, and with aluminum pads they can get dirty too easily and sometimes their coatings can flake off.
The past 10 years or so I've been mixing it up and purchasing only high end mouse pads but I've never really been truly happy with any of them, especially since I've moved on to laser mice. The past two mouse pads I've had have been horrible and I finally decided it was time to get a new one.
After reading reviews and looking around for a while I decided to give this mouse pad a try and I was blown away by its performance. My mouse glides across its surface with no problems and it feels very smooth. The tracking is extremely precise and I can target with absolute precision in an FPS game or move the mouse fast to precisely select individual troops with ease in RTS games. This mouse pad is worth every penny.
Pros:
Smooth surface that tracks well.
High quality textured bottom that holds well and does not slip easily.
Both Laser and Optical mice track well.
Nice thick carrying case for transporting to LANs.
Cons:
It could be a little heavier. (Though its weight and textured bottom is more than sufficient to keep it stable)

When I bought this mousepad I did not imagine it to be this rough. It has this gritty feeling to its surface and it will take about two to three weeks before you really break it in and enjoy using it. I know that I may sound nit-picky, but this thing is rough, it actually scratches into the bottom of the mouse. The reason to this is not just that the mousepad is rough, but also because the way these things are stored in warehouses causes the center of the mousepad to concave up. Overall, not great out of the box, but you will learn to like it once you break it in.

This is an absolutely fantastic mouse mat. The mouse glides across it but you are still able to maintain control. I pair it with my razer mamba and honestly it is such an ideal setup I don't know how I could ever use anything else. There are some drawbacks however. You are spending quite a bit of money for a mousemat. Now, yes, I understand. You are getting a carrying case and all these certificates but quite frankly I will never use those. Drop the carrying case and $10 off the price and this product would be second to none.

This is my second Razer mouse pad I've ever owned. I am using a Razer mamba mouse with this mouse pad and it glides so nicely across the top. Compared to the original Razer destructor, this mouse pad is definitely much better. The mouse pad is large with lots of room for those who like to swipe around a lot during gaming sessions on low DPI. The mouse pad is fairly light, but with the design of the bottom, it sticks to the desktop very well. I bought the battlefield 3 version of this mouse pad and really love the image quality too. This is a very high quality mouse pad, top notch, you won't find anything better as of now; excellent for mouse tracking.
Recommendation : Yes
Issues : No
Quality : 10/10

I bought this amazon and see lots of reviews before buying.
The first thing I found out when I put it on my desk.....the center of this mouse mat is not flat
I think I'm not the only one have this problem
It might be the carrying case that always bent it at the corner or the way they storage it like the other guy said in the review
