Works GreatMar 21, 2009
By J.L. Michaels I use this on a truck running coast to coast. The antenna and mount are very sturdy. The coax is smaller than a cb coax, but not too small. This gives more flexibility in running the line inside the truck. I have seen some antennas with larger coax, which makes them harder to route through windows and doors.
Never drops a signal traveling through all types of terrain.
Also, 1/2 the price of a truck stop antenna. The coax is smaller around than most truck stop antennas, but that is a plus in my opinion.

By ea1948 my husband drives over the road and he says that it only fades out in a tunnel, that is it, other than that, it doesn't skip a beat, great antenna for the price

No detailed specs. No Instructions.Aug 15, 2009

I'm a little disappointed with this antenna. Driving under trees it cuts out. I installed it on my motor home bolting it to the side of a (plastic) roof air vent cover. After installing, it occured to me that it might need a ground plane like some other antennas require but I can't find anything in the way of technical specs or instructions on the web. It didn't come with any instructions at all. I'll live with it but now I wish I would have bought the Terk sir4. At least they have technical specifications and installation info.

good dealDec 24, 2011
By David Stapp This antenna works as good as the $70 ones you find in truck stops. Good value doesn't lose signal under bridges or in very harsh weather conditions. The only time I lose signal is inside long tunnels.
Excellent!Apr 20, 2012
By franedwards76 I use to use the one that came with the radio & it sucked. I would loose radio sattions all the time & it made me so mad to have something I was listening to get interupted every few seconds. I travel all the time and need something to keep the miles going by fast, so I thought this would be the answer to my issue & IT WAS. I have hardly lost any stations at all with this, it is truly a blessing to have this on all these miles I do every day. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
