These pellets are great! I just got mine today and they are very accurate when you sight them in. Anybody who hunts birds, rabbits, and squirrels they have unbelievable expansion.

I bought three different types of pellets for my pellet gun, and these by far won the battle. These were not only accurate at 50 yards, but lethat as well.

I've yet to do any hunting of varmints with this ammo but I have taken a few shots at my targets and I know this stuff will kill (insert big smile here) the pellets flattened on impact meaning they did just what they are suppose to if it were to hit a small animal it would no doubt kill it if not incapacitate it for your kill shot but I am very happy with this and plan to buy many more in the spring time

4Gamo Red Fire Pellets!Jan 13, 2010
By migueljose
The Gamo Red Fire pellets displayed outstanding penetration. Its polymer tip is suprisingly sharp. This pellet will tear into most objects it strikes! The quality of the pellets seems to be acceptable. All pellets were consistent and uniform in shape. The Gamo Red Fire is a cool looking pellet. However, the accuracy of the pellets was good, but not great. At 30 feet without a scope, I was able to shoot 2" inch groups using a smooth-bore Crosman rifle. A rifled barrrel would increase the accuracy of the pellet. In short, the Gamo Red Fire is a great hunting pellet. Its outstanding penetration, acceptable uniformity, and sufficient accuracy make it a "good buy" for that purpose. Nevertheless, you should be aware that for backyard target practice or plinking, other less expensive pellets should be considered before the Gamo Red Fires are purchased. Domed or flat-headed pellets are best for backyard fun. I will keep a tin of Gamo Red Fires around the house just in case those pesky squirrels get too close!
