What a clever product and it's very easy to use. You just sandwich a piece of fabric between the disk and the holder, trim it and sew around the edges. Then pop out the disk, pull, and voilà, a pretty little yo-yo to decorate something with. I'm using mine to make a soft fabric doll for my daughter. The package comes with a little insert of ideas to use the yo-yo. Don't be fooled by the size, though, this extra large makes a yo-yo only about two inches wide when finished.

I love this yo yo maker. It really does make it so much easier and the yoyo's come out exactly the same every time. If you like making yoyo dolls, or any other yoyo craft this is a must.

I purchased the x-small, small and large yo-yo makers and I LOVE THEM!!! Not sure how I managed without them before. I plan on purchasing all of them in the near future.

The Clover line of yoyo makers works wonderfully! I have them in many sizes now and they allow you to make PERFECT yoyos every time with the raw edge covered. The tool looks a little baffling in the package, but it is very simple to use after reading the short illustrated instructions in the package.
Even the tiny yoyo maker allows you to easily make tidy, even yoyos. I use various sizes from scrap fabric to embellish projects like pin cushions and purses, but obviously if you wanted to make a yoyo quilt, this would be a great tool to invest in.
For the amount of time, frustration and wasted fabric this will save, it is well worth the price! It is amazing to see how uniform they come out and it has certainly turned me into a fan of this craft when I always loathed doing them using more traditional methods.
Overall, a great buy and I do really feel that buying this items saves me money on fabric (plus it works well even with tiny scraps that would otherwise be wasted!) Plus the finished yoyos make such a unique and cute embellishment and can be used as patches or appliques on a wide variety of items.

I am so please with these yo-yo makers....not only are they fun but they sure beat the heck out of trying to make them perfect by hand....these do it all except cut them! LOL. Thanks Clover for a wonderful tool.
