False AdvertisingSep 01, 2007
By B. L. Cox One of the two main reasons I purchased this white board is that it was advertised to be far more free of "ghosting" and residual markings after erasing than standard melamine white boards (ergo the name "Total Erase"). I quote: "Easy to clean; never needs special cleaners Surface is guaranteed by the manufacturer to resist staining and ghosting"
In fact, however, the "ghosting" and residual marking are noticeably worse than with my 30 year old melamine white board. It is also more difficult to clean and takes some time and effort with spray cleaner and paper towels. I did not discover these deficits until after I had drilled four 1/4" holes in my wall and spent considerable time and effort in mounting the thing. And when I tried to contact the manufacturer, I hit a brick wall.
On the plus side, the frame is more attractive than the aluminum ones.

Great dry erase boardJun 05, 2008
By Jack Levin The board is great. Installation was easier than I thought. The finish on the board frame is high quality and goes very well with my office. The board itself is good and erases easily with no ghosting. I like the barely visible dots on the board to guide. It makes my drawing neater. The pen tray is slightly on the small side and a bit flimsy. If the tray had more substance, I would have given 5 stars.

Superb quality, great value, great for daily useOct 11, 2010
By iamgodlewski Pros: - great quality (doesn't bend when you press to write, thick back behind white finish for writing) - erases easily (no marks left behind, does not require any special liquid/soaps to wash off markings) - great value (includes board, marker, wall attachments) - great packaging (arrived well packaged in a special thin cardboard box) - comes with dry-erase marker for immediate use
Cons: - a bit heavy, but that's because the quality is superb
Overall: - I think I will be ordering another one because this 4 x 6 board is not enough for my needs. I run a startup and use this board multiple times a day, works well every time.

Looks great, Erases Clean, Slightly flimsyOct 08, 2011
By John Cindrich I bought this board for my home office. The mahogany frame really ties in with the mahogany furiture. The best part is that there are faint grey dots in a grid that help me to right straight and it wipes clean. The only negative is that it bows out in the middle instead of holding firm against the wall. The result is a slight springiness (for lack of better word) as I write. Overall I am happy with it.

Is this supposed to be second hand?Jun 22, 2011
By A. Sparkman I ordered this a month ago and when the package came it had a chip in the white board. I returned it for a second board which arrived with a gouge in the frame. I have no idea if these were both damaged in transit or if Amazon is selling seconds. This is the first time I've been this disappointed with an order from amazon.com...but this is twice in a row on the same product, just to warn you.
Also, this product came up on my search for "magnetic" dry erase board. The board is not. I mention that so that if anyone gets hypnotized reading product page after product page like I do...you might feel tempted to look at the product picture for the details. I felt confident the board was magnetic by looking at the product picture (since it came up under "magnetic dry erase board"). The picture looks like a photo is magnetically attached to the board; it is not. If you look very closely you will see an invisible, plastic document clip holding the picture of the half-sunflower. Don't be lazy like me and rely on a search to filter irrelevant products or for a picture to clarify the details.
