 These envelopes are not Jiffylite!Nov 26, 2010

I ordered these envelopes assuming they were the true Jiffylite brand, as stated. They are instead the store's own brand, complete with their name, website address and phone number printed on each envelope. They're also smaller than Jiffylite - just a bit but it made a difference for some of our items. Not only do the envelopes not match the photo and item description, but the company has mimicked the name of a more reputable company (packit-right), which is the company I thought I was buying from. Buyer beware!

These mailers look similar but are not the brand name Jiffylite Mailers. They are the sellers (Packit Right) own brand, stamped right on the back of the envelope. The self-adhesive flap is about half as wide and the internal dimensions are tighter than those from Jiffylite. They are similarly padded, but no where on the item's page does it disclose that it's their in-house brand. Because of this bait and switch practice, I do not recommend these until the seller discloses this on this page or comes up with their own page for their own product.

These are the Jiffy Lite brand of bubble mailers and are good quality (well-made, sturdy, good bubble protection, and good tape closure). When I ordered (July 2011), the seller was Amazon, not a third party. Make sure when you order that you're ordering from Amazon and you should also get the Jiffy Lite brand instead of a generic. :)

A good quality item at an exceptionally low price. If you need a quantity of mailers, big enough, for instance, for paper back books, this should be your choice.

As some other reviewers have already mentioned, these are the Jiffy Lite brand cushioned mailers and are excellent quality BUT if you want to make sure you get the Jiffy Lite brand (and not some cheap knock-off) you need to order them from Amazon and not one of the other merchants. At the time my purchase it was a couple of dollars more to buy them from Amazon, but it was worth it to know I would be getting what I paid for. Previously to buying these I had been using Duck Brand bubble cushioned mailers from Wal-mart - these are of similar / equal quality and are 1/3 the price.
