5Tight, powerful enough for 400 square feetMay 05, 2010
By Holly Wells "ladyalchimia"
Bought the PSW110 to complement my new TSi400's and CS10 center. Was unsure whether to go one model up for more power--that would have been completely unnecessary. Calibrated properly, it kicks out enough clean, tight thump to rattle your windows (if that's what you want... I don't, so much). I don't even have the volume halfway up, and it's as much bass as I can take in a 20'x20' room with carpet over concrete floor, and 12' ceilings. Don't get me wrong--the TSi400's have good low end on their own, and I probably could have done without a sub--but I'm glad I shelled out $250 for this one. It sits nicely behind the TV stand and fills the room with a tight foundation. Coupled with the towers and the center for home theater, it covers the bases nicely. I might still shop for some satellites for surround, but honestly, this speaker setup is intended more for music than home theater. Also, the cherry finish is gorgeous--not that anyone sees it back there!

5Polk Speakers and the PAW110 SubwooferApr 14, 2010
By Jim Falk
I'm not sure where this eval is going but I can't say
enough about this subwoofer as it has provided a depth
of listening enjoyment that I have not experienced for
years - my other recently acquired Polk speakers
(bookshelf & center speakers)were lacking in decible depth
then the subject woofer turned my system into an awesome
speaker match and I have gone to playing tunes from rarely
to all-the-time - I'm so pleased with the quality of sound
from the entire system! and the cherry-wood exterior of all
four speakers has a quality appearance and adds much to our
home decor -

5Best subwoofer for the money and then someOct 22, 2011
By Double Deuce
You can't go wrong with this one even at 10 time the price but @ this price you have to be nuts not jump all over it. I have a complete home theater setup comprised of all Polk Audio components and I couldn't be happier with them. This sub gives a full and dynamic base sound, capable of achieving the lowest lows...it just constantly delivers and never dissipoints me!

5SmoothDec 12, 2009

Replaced a 15 year old Bose with the Polk Audio Speakers including this sub-woofer. Best way to discribe the sound is smooth. I'm hearing sounds in movies I did not know were there. These are being run by An Onkyo 806. This is in a room 18 X 15. More than enough speaker. Glad I didn't go one bigger.

4Sound PowerSep 08, 2008
By Eddie
The companies, Amazon & Vanns, sent me the wrong color subwoofer, but they did offer to replace it. The subwoofer performance has been excellent, providing an adequate bass boost to complement my existing Bose 301 speakers.
