I wanted one of these to make my own vanilla. The size is right for long vanilla beans and when filled with vodka, and using the stopper, it makes a great container for this use.

I bought this to make flavored simple syrup and decided on this bottle for a few reasons: the top seals well, the glass is thick and durable, 17 ounces is the perfect size for my use, and the attached cap makes it impossible to misplace. It's definitely a nice looking bottle that I expect to last a long time.

While I love to keep vodka in the freezer, I wouldn't dare think to hog up ours with a huge plastic bottle. I bought this flask so I could keep a good quantity chilling without taking up a lot of space. It's a nicely constructed flask, solid but not too heavy, with a securely latching stopper. The stopper mechanism is simple but effective and is easy to open and close. I bought a small metal funnel to make it easier to fill which I highly recommend.
