Simply PerfectSep 12, 2004

If you play Karaoke Revolution or American Idol video games, then this mic is for you! You can say goodbye to all the problems with the headset, especially when more than a couple people are playing. You can just pass the mic instead waiting until every player gets adjusted using the headset mic. Plus, it fits everyone! Some players fit the headset perfectly but the ones who don't suffer. They get the mic right but not the earpiece, or the earpiece right and not the mic. It registers your voice accuately. This handheld is perfect!

Worth Every PennyJul 16, 2004
If you like Karaoke Revolution 1 or 2, don't stop to think -- just buy this mic. I absolutely promise you will see your scores soar!I got mine a month before Karaoke Revolution 2 came out and I was very tired of having to hold the headset mic to my mouth to get it to register. I have a small head, so the size was correct, the prepackaged mic just wasn't good enough for music. I was so tired of singing the correct notes, yet seeing the indicator fly around the screen because of the poor mic. The handheld mic totally fixed this. From what I understand, this was very typical behavior as well. Also, my husband is 6'6 and he couldn't even begin have the headset mic anywhere near his ear and still have the mic near his mouth. This handheld mic solves all those problems. Not only that, you get to look more like the characters in the game. Then you can give the mic that came with Karaoke Revolution 1 to some kids and let them use it for part of a Halloween costume! They'll think it's a great role-playing toy!

Mic TroubleNov 01, 2004
By Nick I first bought (yes I said `first') this item when I got the set of Karaoke Revolution disk. Boy did we have fun, then, at first it was just a little noise coming from the speakers. Than intermittent shorting out of the sound. Then nothing. This after just a few days.
Must admit Amazon was great in the way they handled the matter, they asked me to return the item, and sure enough shortly after a replacement came Boy did we have fun(of course we handled this new one with baby gloves), Did not help, within two weeks the same thing happened again, dead, kaput.
I had to buy another one (this time one that I saw in a store). So I am now on the third one within weeks. Other wise works pretty good (that is, when and while it works)
First two were very easy to go bad, hope I have better luck third time a round.
Will keep you up dated on how long this one works.

Works with Guitar Hero World TourJan 15, 2009
By T. Sarver I bought this, unsure if I would have a compatibility issue or not. I am pleased to say that it works fine with my daughter's PS2 Guitar Hero World Tour game. The sound is fine, I haven't noticed any problems with it.

Works with MacSep 26, 2006
By nojoka I actually bought this to use with my Intel Mac Mini because it was the cheapest usb mic I could find. Wasn't 100% sure it would work but it does, and for the price I'd say it performs excellent!
