Tied to my shoe?Jul 16, 2011
By Cherripit I think this pedometer will work for me but the reason I chose this model was because it says in the description that it can be worn tied securely to my shoe or clipped to a purse. The problem is that there is no clasp, clip or loop provided that will allow me to attach it to my shoe or clip it to a purse. Guess that is where duct tape comes in handy!

Good pedometer.Oct 07, 2011

Bought this for my wife who uses it every day. She loves it and really likes the lanyard and the fact that it works pretty much no matter what the orientation of it is. Distance accuracy is a little rough because it is an estimate but so is the accuracy on the iPod Nike add-on. The Oregon PE903 seems to be accurate on the steps count tho which is what she wanted it for.

I purchased this pedometer because the description said it could worn on your shoe. However, the pedometer doesn't come with a clip, or anything, that will allow you to attach it to your shoe, pants, or skirt. It only comes with a lanyard that allows you to wear it around your neck. I was also disappointed that users can only choose from three goal distances (6.21, 15.5, or 26.1 miles). It doesn't allow you to personalize your goals. Overall, I found it to be mostly accurate, if you were in continuous movement. However, if you stopped walking for a period of time and then start walking again the pedometer does not continue to count the steps from where you left off. It's weird. I was extremely disappointed.
