Patty Caddy - pretty baddyJan 02, 2011
By The hycodude This seemed like a great idea, but it just has too many flaws for me. I've retired it after using it only twice.
PRO'S - Stores neatly & dishwasher safe - that's it.
CON'S - Makes burgers too big - the diameter of the cylinder is over 4.5". If you're using lean ground beef or turkey, they'll end up bigger than most hamburger rolls. - If you remove the patties from the cylinder and freeze them with the dividers in place, it's very difficult to separate the burger from the divider. - The split cylinder can be tricky to assemble and disassemble.
There are better presses out there. I'm giving this one away.

Great Time SaverFeb 18, 2010
By Skewarkee A great way to have hamburgers ready to go-and not have either a big pkg. of frozen hamburger to deal with or a pkg. of hamburger that has gone bad in the fridge because you didn't freeze it.It's a good product, stores away conveniently until next use, and easy to use. It came quickly and I would buy from this seller again.

DisasterFeb 26, 2011
By BooneBuyer This seems like a good idea in theory, but doesn't work in reality. The meat sticks to the hard plastic in the freezer, making it nearly impossible to get the patties out of the container. If the discs were made of flexible plastic (like the top), this would work.

STICKINGNov 05, 2011
By Daniel C. Swanson I had the same problem with the patties sticking to the plastic when frozen, and the two half's, not wanting to come apart when cold, but the very simple fix was to spray the inside and parts that slide with Pam. now the burgers come out easy when frozen and it comes apart very easily. Also, I do not store my burgers in the unit. I make them and freeze them, then put them in a gallon freezer bag. I find they keep much longer this way. Up to 6 months.
