5Quick catch pullerMay 04, 2010
By Dorrie J. Dean
This thing cranks! It will pull four 36" ladner traps plus an 8 pound mushroom anchor at 130 fpm under a full load and 3 knot drift. I'm certain that it will pull five traps at least 100 fpm. Not sure how long it will last but I just upgraded from the capstan 1,000 and it was still going strong after five seasons. Highly recommended.

5excellent pullerMay 29, 2010
By Erik R. Huebsch
I just used the puller for several days, pulling pots in 500 feet of water. It worked very well and very fast compared to other pullers that I have used. The instructions that came with the winch were lacking in detail about hooking up the wiring for it.

5Very Solid EquipmentMay 27, 2011
By Lobsterman
I've used this for hauling lobster traps for my small inshore operation in Maine. I'm starting my second season. The hauler is very easy on the battery, very easy to install and operate, and is extremely sturdy in every respect. The puller has been completely reliable. Great machine.
