Love itAug 07, 2011
By Peter L. Simons I had a standard PFD to use with my inflatable kayak, which I hated. Could never get comfortable. If I wore it the way you are supposed to (snug), it was constricting. Some friends turned me onto the idea of an inflatable PFD. WOW what a difference. Feels like wearing nothing. I haven't had to test it in a real situation, but I did use the manual tube to blow it up. Kind of seemed like a good idea to make sure it would, finding that out it doesn't in the middle of a lake would be awkward. Actually, even using the manual tube is fairly easy. Obviously if I need to pull the cord, trust me, I will. But, if it's a less panic situation, blowing it up manually would be just fine.
I'm very pleased I got it, and my wife is pleased too, she doesn't have to listen to me complain any more.

Inflatable PFD great value and packs nicely for tripsJun 25, 2011
By Randall Bought this to replace an aging PFD and love it. Took it to the Keys, it packs nicely...taking up less space, and is comfortable to wear all day while on the water.
I will replace the other PFD with the same type when the time is right.
As a kayaker, I opted for the manual inflatable option cause I get wet when paddling and sometimes swim to cool off.

fits greatOct 21, 2011
By turk15 The Absolute outdoor full throttle onyx Co2 Manual vest fits great, most of the time you do not even know it is on, it does not get in the way of casting when fishing, I have not tried to pull the cord on this one but have with others and this one looks like it can be put back in place alot easier, connecting the Co2 was effortless, for the money you pay this is a top notch product.
