It had great potentialJan 21, 2010

We have several Tag books, and love them all. So I was quiet eager to get the Oliva book. It's the same book you get from the library.....with no extra games in the back. I was really expecting it to be more, hands on, and ineresting (like the Pirate book or Up). Like the tv show. It had such great potential to teach about art, music, dancing or different emotions. Instead, it asks who made the sand castle and who does Olivia need to be firm with? Plus, my son was highly disappointed that the characters sounded nothing like what was on the show! And when you touch any of the characters, their voices sound more like the Charlie Brown adults than real people. My son actually wants to send the book back for a different one. Glad it's in our collection, but I don't think it will be "read" as frequently as the other books. :(

We had actually never read Olivia until we got it as a Tag book. What a delightful story! I like that the narrator encourages the kids to be active and dance and sing along with Olivia.

My 3-year old daughter loves this book. Although the book is rated for 4 year old, she is still able to enjoy. She clicks on all the pictures and is amused for quite a while. We read together and she touches the dots. Great entertainment for children.

I was debating whether or not my daughter was old enough for this product. She loves it and can't wait to read every night.I love that all the pictures in the book are interactive. When you touch the tag reader to Ian..he may giggle or scream...the cat meows. I love this product. The tag reader that you use to read the book tracks the progress of memory and comprehension when they choose to play a game.
