DO NOT BUY!!! Amazon Description is Wrong!Sep 03, 2011
By Steve Colley WARNING!!! The description given by Amazon for this product is actually for the "Platinum" version, not this version of the software. Look at the description for "Multimedia Platinum HD V.10" and you will see that it is identical to this one for "Video Premium HD V.11". This version (Premium) does not play commercial Blu-ray Discs or provide backup software. I contacted Nero and they stated that these features are only in the "Platinum" version. I only found this out by trying the software, and now can't return it because it has been opened. Don't let Amazon do this to you! Buy the Platinum version or buy another product. You have been warned!

Easy SoftwareDec 29, 2010
By baseballmom96 Great product ! Super Easy! My 15 year old son wanted to edit his HD videos, I did not want him to get frustrated with some complicated software so I did my research and when I read the reviews about how simple the software is I was convinced. He made his first video Christmas(the day he got it) and was posted on Utube before nightfall. Music ,sound effects and all!! My son told me he loved it and it has so many extras he doesnt even know everything it does yet but that is was soo easy and he approved of the software!!That says alot coming from him.

Dramatic decline from Nero 7Dec 17, 2010
By NONAMEHERE I used to own Nero 7, so I had an idea of some of the stability issues with Nero. I had also read about the update issues. I still liked Nero 7 and wanted to get a version that would work in Win7 64bit. What I didn't realize is how badly Nero 10 royally f's up your windows registry. Just try uninstalling the software and doing a registry search, you'll see what I mean.
Pros: it is very easy to and create disc that look almost professional
Cons: See above stated. Updates take several attempts to work, and no direct download option. Converting to dvd format takes longer than most other software package (not a deal breaker.) It takes over your computer. Very unstable, crashes all the time. Causes system crashes even when your not using the software. The MediaHub royally f's up Windows Media Player, no audio. And try to talk to someone at Nero about fixes or work around... Forget it, they literally tell you to contact Microsoft, "ha, you need to contact Microsoft." They expect Microsoft to fix their software...
Biggest waste of $40.00, plus the endless task of trying to un-fudge my system.
I didn't, but DO NOT install this on a computer you depend on, if you do decide to try the software. I'm not embellishing about Nero jacking up your registry. I have my laptop for school/work and my desktop for fun, luckly I choose to install this on my desktop. You've been warned.
The last choice for DVD/Blu-ray playbackMay 26, 2012

I have always liked Nero products, but they really dropped the ball on this one! Not only could it completely not recognize Blu-ray disks, but it would not even play DVDs - where several other programs had absolutely NO problem on the same computer. Tech support tried, but they were really no help at all - as if they knew that there really is no fix. STAY AWAY, unless you just like frustration and eventual returns!
Does not flyMay 26, 2012
By Percy Smogg My computer system and Windows version meets all requirements. I keep the number of background processes that run at startup of the system to a minimum. However, any attempt to use the video editing program causes it to display the message that it has experienced a problem and must shut down. So, the video editor is unusable. The video player works OK and apparently plays about any kind of video format file.
An Internet search on this program will turn up a common conplaint of it being as slow as Christmas.
