I purchased this scope for my S&W 15-22. I attached it to a UTG 3/4" riser and it put it right where I needed it to be. I wear glasses, and usually have a difficult time with eye relief, but this scope is great. The optics are clear and crisp. Crosshairs are nice. It took a bit of adjusting to get it zeroed in, but that's something to expect with any scope, just depends on the shooter. I pop this scope off to store the gun, and with taking it off multiple times and putting it back on, it's still zeroed in where I set it. The only thing that feels "slightly" cheap is the power adjustment ring, but for this price, you have to expect a little less quality than you do with a scope you'd pay a few hundred bucks for. I haven't submerged it in water, dropped it off a cliff, ran over it with a four-wheeler, or anything like that, so I don't know how tuff it is, but it's been bumped around and still works fine. The rubber coating is nice and has a good feel to it. I can't say for sure how this would do on a high-powe rifle, but from my experiences so far, I'd put one on any of my rifles without a second thought. I have fired slow and rapid and while moving with no issues. A great scope for the money and I would highly recommend.

I bought the Nc STAR 3-9X40R for a Daisy POWER-LINE 1000 break barrel air rifle that came with a small 32mm scope that was difficult to see with.
The scope comes with a nice dark green cardboard shoe box with silver foil Nc STAR SPORTING SCOPE logos on 3 sides. Inside you get a bubble wrapped package with a pair of wide dovetail low mounts (which you probably will not be able to use unless your rifle has a raised dovetail on the receiver.)
one Allen wrench.
A pretty heavy feeling 12 3/8" long X 2" at the lens side, 100% rubber coated scope body with very good quality lenses.
cheap looking plastic lens caps with yellow color lens filter.
easy to read instruction sheets and one soft lens cleaning rag.
The Daisy has a standard 3/8" wide dovetail, so I needed a taller mount to accept the larger 40mm lens diameter.
I found a good one piece 30mm off set mount on eBay for only $20.00 that fit perfect.
The scope was easy to set up and zero in.
I chose the all rubber body covered design of this scope because I like to hunt in the wet brush sometimes, The other advantage I discovered is the soft rubber coating on the eye sight protected me because when I set up the scope mounts for the first time the rifle recoil knocked the scope into my brow a couple times and I did not suffer any cuts or bruises.
The scope is easy to use and is fine for shorter distances less than 100 yards, I would recommend the larger 50mm size lens for better target visibility.
I am very happy with the quality, price and improvements it has made.
The rifle more fun to use now all though a bit heavier to carry in the woods.

Bought 2 of these just to see how a $32 (with free shipping)scope would work. Arrived in 4 days. Put one one a 22 and another on my AK. Both sighted in very quickly and the scope improved my accuracy over iron sights. Ring mounts leave a little to be desired and I may replace them but they are adequate for the range. I would recommend the mounts for the field. Definitely a value for the recreational shooter who wants a tactical look. I will make more comments later if I have any problems.

so i attached this to my saiga 7.62x39 and it took me all of 10 rounds to get it sighted using a dime. the rubber is very tough and is water proof. about 2/1/2 to 3inch eye relief and the cross hairs are easy to see. it comes with lens covers but not the kind that flip up. its the covers that are attached with elastic that cup to each end of the scope. after around 200 rounds nothing as of yet has broken on this scope. one thing that might have been a hiccup was that it came slightly loose and had to retighten it but then it was fine. there is not green or red light for this scope but it does have mil dot lines.

I ordered this from Amazon.com for my Quest 1000 .177 pellet rifle and at first glance the scope looks great and has a clean crisp view so I mounted the .22 medium profile integral scope mount with 1 inch rings from Crosman and it felt great on the gun then I find out that the rubber coating on the scope does not allow for you to fit the scope in the 1 inch rings so after looking around to no avail and finding mostly 1 inch rings and because of the scopes odd tube diameter of 28 mm finding rings for this thing is a challenge so after a long call with NcStar themselves I found that the tube IS in fact 1 inch compatible but the rubber coating was causing an issue. So in short I found out that if you MOD the scope a little and it WILL work here is what I did 1st I lined up the scope mount where I wanted it and then I marked it with both the top and bottom pieces on. Once I had a circle marked all the way around I cut the rubber away where it was not needed and voila it did fit and worked like a charm fits great snug and still looks great now here is what NcStar told me Amazon if you buy it here will not take it back if you do do this I did it because I figured what the hay it was only 30$ and i didn't feel like shipping it back for the non rubber counterpart
also NcStar said doing this would not void your warranty with them and that they would in fact honor the warranty with the modification directly through them so just food for thought this scope came with a bungee style lens cover that quite frankly was disappointing I would have liked to see flip up style included but hay for the price what can ya say other than that the scope looks and performs great and if you don't mind making a little modification to make it fit your 1 inch rings it will work great for you too NOTE** This gun did come with a set of rings that fit without this MOD that were standard size weaver style that did not fit my needs for this scope. other than that for the price of 33$ shipped if you have prime this is a GREAT BUY!
