Love! Love!Apr 19, 2012
By PJ These thimballs are great for quilting. I would recommend them to all quilters. I have tried the ones you can buy at the fabric stores but they aren't nearly as good as these.

This is thimble is just right. I don't like metal thimbles. This is soft and works great. I am totally satisfied.
Finally! A thimble that fits my arthritic finger comfortably!May 01, 2012

I love to sew and have recently started to quilt. I was SO frustrated because the metal thimbles I've used for at least 40 years no longer fit my arthritic finger joint. I tried 3 different sizes of silicone thimbles. They were too deep and kept falling off. Then I tried a leather and elastic thimble from my local fabric store. It fit pretty well, but had an opening right where the needle hits when I use the side of my finger to push the needle through the fabric. I had to wear it sideways which was not comfortable. So as a last resort, I ordered this leather thimble which has no stitching or openings anywhere near the needle! AND it is long enough and flexible enough to fit over my swollen finger joint, but short enough miss the second finger joint. I can even type while wearing this thimble! I'm thrilled to be able to enjoy hand sewing again!
Fits nice and snugApr 09, 2011
By P. Copeland My first leather thimble fit just to the first knuckle. After a while, it loosened up and would never stay on. It got very frustrating! This thimble fits to the second knuckle and fits very snug. I am really happy with it.
