this is a very nice feature to have, with theft in high demand, it is nice to be able to quickly remove my expensive trolling moto from my boat and lock it up. Easy to install and very solid design.

It was very easy to install and the bracket makes removal of the motor very simple.I wanted the ability to remove and secure my trolling motor while the boat is parked.You can lock the motor to the bracket but only a very small lock will fit.

THIS QUICK RELEASE BRACKET MOUNT IS BEING USED ON OUR SECOND BOAT. WE SWITCH OUT THE MINN KOTA TROLLING MOTOR TO WHICH EVER BOAT WE ARE TAKING AT THE TIME. LOOKED ALL OVER FOR THE MOUNT AT A DECENT PRICE. THIS WAS THE BEST. THIS UNIT WORKS GREAT. IT IS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED. THANKS FOR READING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
