 Good tool for use with RVsNov 06, 2007

I have used these in the past for use with my trolling motors. However, this year I realized how handy they are for use with my travel trailer. As a result, I bought another for me and some for family and friends who have trailers. The device not only lists the voltage but it gives an idea of the amount of charge left. This is very helpful when you are trolling but it is also helpful so that I know how much time I have before my trailer battery needs to be charged. It isn't fun to run out of juice in the middle of a cold night and not have the furnace work in the trailer.

It's easy to use and simple, the downfall is that I expected something that could be attached to the battery and keep a constant reading of the power remaining. However I'm very pleased for what I paid.

Got this item to keep tabs on my trolling motor battery that I use to power a 3-man inflatable raft. So far, it has done what I needed it to do, which is tell me when I'm getting close to 50% of my battery power so I know to head back before I end up having to row back. The hole to store the pointy probe is very handy when using this around an inflatable.

this is an great product. really good priced and really easy to used. just as desribed in descrition. one side too one end and the other side to the other and you have the reading. sweet.

I keep several batteries on charger for camping--so I keep the Minn Kota Meter handy to check the charge both at home and while camping. I do not like surprises at 3 am while it is raining. Handy, convenient and priced right.
