Great packing tool!Apr 09, 2010
By Maryrose90 I used these bags to pack my son's suitcase for his 10-day trip to Italy. I was a little skeptical due to the low price but purchased based on user reviews as you've got to trust those Amazon reviewers! Figuring out the compressing of the bag was a little tricky on the first one - had to use a little elbow grease to get the air locks to open and release air. However, once we got the hang of it on the first one, the rest were a breeze. We were able to pack enough clothes for a teenage boy for 10 days and only filled the suitcase about 2/3 full. This left him plenty of room for souveniors on the way back. It also served well to organize his suitcase for the trip. I bought two sets and we divided his clothes by day so he could pull out one bag and have everything in it. We packed one pair of jeans and 2 t-shirts, pairs of socks and underwear in each bag. It worked great for him! He then used the bags for his dirty laundry to keep it separated from his clean clothes. We also packed an empty bag for damp swim trunks that didn't have enough time to air dry overnight. Just rolled them up by themselves in a bag and the rest of his clothes stayed dry. Would highly recommend.

these have worked well for yearsDec 28, 2009

I just purchased my second set of these packers. I use them to store our down comforter (queen size fits in the largest bag), down jackets and sweaters during the summer. The first set is still working well after 4 seasons; I normally put things in then take them out once per year so they're durable enough for my purposes. I like that you don't have to use a vacuum to seal these; just put the items in, seal the bag then squeeze the air out - sitting on it works well!

Space Savers...Nov 18, 2009
By nathan hearns These compression packers are great. They saved me so much space in my luggage. I just got back from a month traveling in Australia and I'd bought 2 packs of these and used them all. Small, Medium and Large sizes in each pack and they allow you to pack a number of different things and store them accordingly. A must have for travelers...!

I'm ordering more- Sturdy, functional, practical sizesMar 09, 2011

I looked at the reviews for many space saving compression bags before ordering a set of these. At the current price of 3 for $10.00, I figured they were worth a gamble even if they did not last. I found the bags to be sturdy, and they really compress very easily.
Some reviewers have noted that there is a learning curve with them. They are right. I thought I was going to burst the first bag I tried to use, because as you apply pressure, they kind of balloon up until the air finally escapes and they collapse. Once that first trial is over, you are fine.
The bags come in three sizes, to fit different size suitcases or items. I am ordering three more sets of them to use for out of season comforters and bulky items. Very pleased.

Saves space - not weightJul 10, 2011
By Gary Burr These bags work great and save a ton of space - so that you can pile a lot more stuff into your suitcase (don't do it - get a smaller suitcase and compress everything). If you are organized, you can pack daily bundles into one bag and not have to pull out everything every day. The value became better as the trip wore on, I compressed more so that I could fit more trinkets. NOTE: The first time using, the end valves do not open right-off, so I recommend filling with air only and push to open the end valves before putting clothes in to compress.
