I got these gloves for my Dad. He said that they are very warm & easy to get your fingers out. The thing he dislikes is that thumbs also come off.

Just what I was looking for to take photos in the winter. Thumbs uncover as well. Covers are held back by Velcro tabs when open. Good fit, looks like they'll last a few seasons. I'm pretty happy with these so far.

Gloves are perfect gloves for photographers out in the cold. Keeps your hands warm when you need it and super easy access to your fingers AND THUMB when you need them. The velcro is a nice touch since it keeps the mitten portion fixed out of the way while you are fiddling with the camera. Appears to be well made, definitely worth the price over the cheapie's for photographers.

I gave this as a present to a friend after buying my own, I live in a cold state and this gloves keep my hands warm... I have not used them yet in the middle of the harsh winter... but so far... my fingers stay warm when the cold wind blows. I love the fact that the thumb is removable, I like to be able to feel and control the camera and most mittens keep the thumb covered. With this gloves you can uncover just the thumb and keep the rest of your hand covered and warm. Great invention.

I love these gloves as they are the best ones I've ever had and I have had many. First off I love that that they are warm and yet they still give you freedom to have the ends of your fingers accessible. I was surprised to hear that someone's husband didn't like that the thumb area had a part that would pull back if one so wanted. The reason being is, that it in no way 'acts' like it's going to unless you do so intentionally. Moreover it overlaps the underhalf of the fabric that covers the the thumb so its not like wind blows through a 'crack' in the seem or something. Moreover, when you do pull the fingers lid and thumb lid, there is velcro! I love this because I've had gloves that would hold back the lid of the first 4 fingers but no velcro for the thumb; and let me just tell you that those gloves were obnoxious. At any rate these gloves are definately worth the money. You won't regret it.
