As advertisedAug 04, 2010

This little light fit my Springfield XD-40 subcompact pistol perfectly and works exactly as advertised. Had it mounted and working in less than minute after opening packaging. Switch is intuitive and easily reached with an index finger for intermittent or constant activation. Very bright beam will definitely ruin the night vision of anyone hit with it and provide the user with a quick identification before deciding appropriate reaction. Useful addition to a home defense firearm.

Great Light But Could Be BrighterMay 27, 2011
By Brian Giller I can't really say anything bad about this light. It is made very well, fits the XD40 subcompact perfectly, works smoothly, BUT it could be a lot brighter. Given that it is using a lithium 3v battery, I beleive it would be better served with an LED that would give more bright white light while drawing about the same amount of current. I don't consider the light emitted from this light to be blinding like some of the Surefire lights that I have (which also use 3V lithium batteries). I would say the light emitted from this light is more comparable to an incandescant 2x AA mag light. Problem though is that if you are looking for a light for the XD40 subcompact, this is pretty much all there is...
Compact and bright!Nov 21, 2011
By Kingmonkey Compact and bright tactical pistol light mounts onto Glock 19 perfectly! Toggles on and off and constant on; the beam is 40 lumens which is bright enough, though there are tactical flashlights on the market that are brighter, this is good enough for one mounted on a pistol. No complaints! I bought this one for my brother, but I have one mounted on several of my home defense pistols.
