To the human eye, the decals appear as frosted or etched glass.
The decals measure approximately 4" across, and are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window. As a rough guide, we recommend 1 decal for every 3' x 3' section of glass.

We have a huge window looking out on our pond. The mourning doves were always banging into it, and killing themselves. NO MORE! These really work!

We live at the top of a mountain and the front of our house is all glass. For years we have had constant bird strikes all summer long. Some shake themselves off and eventually fly away and others die. After 5 beautiful birds dying with in 2 days I had had enough and went looking for something to put on my windows. I found the window alert. Be aware that they go on the OUTSIDE of your glass. I didn't realize this when ordering and we have VERY high windows and I am terrified of heights. My husband put them up for me (thank God) and we have only had 1 bird strike so far this summer. That is a remarkable decrease from what it used to be. I would recommend these to anyone who bird strike problems. They are non-intrusive, you hardly notice them on the windows (it just kind of looks like a glass etched design).

They work great, good price. I have had some on my windows for a few years now, and when I wanted to move them, they were a bit tricky to take off so I left them where they were.

These hummingbirds are a great product. They are cute and not gaudy. So far I have not had one bird fly into the window.

These window clings don't appear to work as advertised. You have to clean the window before putting on which makes it even clearer. I am not sure if the birds think they will fly through the window or they are trying to land in the tree reflected in the window. I still have 3-6 birds a week hitting the window and dying, with others who hit but not hard enough to die. I think maybe some see it when they get close enough so maybe they slow down or change directions but can't avoid the window all together. We have 6 decals on an aprox.8X4 window. The directions said to place every 2-3 feet. I placed them where there seemed to be the most hits. Not sure what to do to save the poor things.
