Hello, I'm land surveyor and am constantly in the woods with the ticks and chiggers. I have learned that if you break this open, cut in half and run shoelaces through each piece you can place around ankle of boot which will give you a very good tick and chigger repellent for about 2-3 months. I never spray with anything else, just this. Ticks will crawl on me for just a little bit but then will die. Can't hardly smell this after opened so it doesn't smell like the sprays. Completely kills chiggers, which is a very big plus to me, and the only place that the ticks will bite in is around the shoulder and up. Since I don't want to wear one as a collar I can stand one or two bites a week.

Spider Mites Die!!Dec 22, 2009

I had a spider mite invasion in my indoor garden twice,(several months apart, so not a re-infestation) and both times by using No-Pest strip they not only were stopped in their tracks dead as adults, they also only made it a few steps from the eggs before dying. I confirmed the effectiveness by using a microscope to check for any living bugs....not one after I put the strip inside the garden.
Highly recommend with the understanding that it's effectiveness likely is proportionate to the fume concentration in the room. Larger space will require more strips. Good luck and keep on growin!

Great for Moth ControlAug 15, 2010

I have used these pest strips for around 3 years now to control moth damage to clothing. Since using these strips I've had no more problems with moths eating holes in my clothing.
The strip is good for up to 4 months and 4 months goes by pretty fast where the use of these strips is concerned. I've found it best for me to mark the bottom of the strip with the replacement date using a permanent felt tip marker. That way I have a reminder when the strip should be replaced.
This system has worked pretty well; I still sometimes let the replacement date slip by before I replace it. What I've been doing is putting up a new strip and then move the old one to another location in the same room to get any residual benefit it might offer.
It is odor-free and leaves no evidence that such a strip is in use on the clothing. I recommend it for moth control as it has worked well for me.

I was excited to get this strip and finally get rid of all of the flying bugs around my backdoor where my dogs go in and out. Within 2 hours of hanging this up a few feet away from the doorway, all, and I mean ALL of the flying bugs were gone! It was quite impressive - no mosquitos, gnats, junebugs etc anywhwere near my door,(spiders didn't seem affected by it).
Now where things went bad -- it clearly says "good for about 4 months" (although wind can affect the strip); this strip lasted a whole 25 days! I think that what you pay for this strip is a little overpriced if it's only going to last 3.5 weeks. Maybe I just got a bad one I don't know, but I will say it worked amazingly while it lasted. Buyer beware I guess.
