Must be modified to be used.May 17, 2011
By Patrick Ethridge The swivel stud is entirely too long if you intend to use this as a bipod adapter. It will need to be modified to work with a harris or caldwell.

Affordable alternative to Harris adapterMay 03, 2010
By monoblocks Bought a second ProMag adapter for use on my Sig 522 and with any of my Harris bipods. Each of the bipods attaches firmly and gives solid rattle and wobble-free support. At the time of purchase it's roughly half the price of the rail adapter that Harris themselves sells, and seems to do an equally good job. The finish isn't as durable as I might prefer, and the bolt configuration seems to vary over time (my first adapter came with a bolt with a slotted thumbturn head instead of the hex head shown here on Amazon and received with the second unit) and ProMag has an unfortunately and deservedly BAD reputation for shoddy customer service and support, but for the money I so far can't complain or find much else about this device to gripe about.

Not as good as they saidMar 26, 2011
By Raul Torres The quality is ok. However, the ProMag PM108 Harris Bipod Rail Adapter does not fits the picatinny rails system as described. The bipod never get tight enough to be able to perform as described. I had to buy a different one.

Works okayDec 25, 2009

I replaced the bolt that requires an allen wrench with another that has a larger, knurled head so I could tighten to Picatinny rail without the tool. Other than that, the adapter does what it is supposed to.

Built solid, but sling piece is too longMar 24, 2011
By CJ The product is build like a tank, the only problem is that it doesnt fit with the harris bipod perfectly. You'll need to put some padding in between to make it work perfectly. Also the sling pieace is wayyy too long.
